We chose a banana slug as our mascot for a reason. It's the unofficial icon of Santa Cruz — a little quirky, a little laid-back, and 100% at home here. That's the JR way, too.

Jose picked up the trade young — his first jobs came freshman year of high school, and he's been fixing, cleaning, and maintaining properties ever since. Five years working across Santa Cruz County turned that into JR Services: a way to put those skills to good use for the community he lives in.
That's also why we go out of our way for the neighbors who need the help most — elderly homeowners who shouldn't be up on a ladder, and young families and first-time renters juggling more than they have hours for. We work in English and Spanish, explain things plainly, and never upsell.
