The work, scoped to your property.
A yard-care list changes with the season and the part of the county. A coastal lawn, a shaded valley garden, and a rental with a small front entry do not need identical visits. Tell JR what is growing, what has become hard to keep up with, and whether you need a one-time cleanup or a recurring route. Photos of the whole yard are more useful than a close-up of one weed.
Mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, and cleanup can make a property easier to maintain, while seasonal work such as mulch, leaf removal, and planting deserves its own discussion. For irrigation issues, explain whether you see a leak, a dry patch, or spray landing somewhere it should not. Minor repairs and checks can be included in the scope instead of assuming a dead plant simply needs more water.
In Felton, Ben Lomond, and Boulder Creek, leaf and needle buildup can create a different workload from a coastal property. Brush clearing and defensible-space work should be discussed around the actual site; no ordinary yard visit is a guarantee of fire protection or regulatory compliance. Pressure washing is available for suitable surfaces, but material and condition matter. Tell us about steep access, gates, pets, and how yard waste should be handled before the appointment.
Who it's for
Homeowners, second-home owners, landlords, HOAs, and small commercial properties that want a yard handled on a schedule.
Start with the list that matters to you. Tell us which items are urgent, which can wait, and the result you need before the space is ready to use. If there are other people working at the property, share their schedule so the requested visit can be planned around them. You can discuss the details in English or Spanish — hablamos español.
Get the quote conversation started
Quotes are free and no-obligation. Include the town, property type, photos, access details, and preferred timing when you contact JR. We will discuss the requested work and what belongs in the scope rather than assuming every property needs the same list. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with a 24/7 emergency line for urgent requests.
Before the visit, make a note of anything you do not want moved or worked on, and any parts of the property that are off limits. If you are arranging work for someone else, identify who can answer questions about the scope and provide access. A clear list also helps keep optional extras separate from the work you originally requested. If the condition changes or another task comes up, bring it into the conversation rather than assuming it is included. The aim is simple: everyone understands which work is being requested before it begins.
